Stratford's first LGBTQ+ community centre serving what has been called "Canada's gayest small city".

The SPCC serves people living in Stratford and Perth County — those who are visiting/plan to visit and those who are looking for a welcoming place to move permanently.

SPCC works to advance our community as a progressive, inclusive, and welcoming place to live, work, visit, or do business.

The centre is a valuable resource for businesses and organizations wanting to learn how to be more LGBTQ-positive in their interactions with both clients/customers and staff.

Our two meeting rooms are available for booking by related organizations or individuals seeking meeting space. For information:

Stratford, Ontario, Canada, is a magnet for the arts-inclined traveller. With such a lively arts scene and being a mere two-hour train trip or highway drive from the largest LGBTQ+ community in the country in the city of Toronto, it's a favourite destination for a diverse population of travellers.

Stratford is also a favourite permanent destination for those looking for a safe and welcoming community to become a part of. This guide will help you find businesses and organizations to suit your style, whether you're coming for a visit or putting down roots.
